Bastaixos
Sonnet

Cathedral - Santa Maria Del Mar,

Massive stone blocks on their backs carried far.

 

Men of Ribera struggled, suffered and sweat,

Built Catalan gothic church, not to forget.

 

Columns, pillars and walls placed with each stone,

Fierce devotion the Bastaixos backbone.

 

Church not built by Kings but by the unkown.
