Cortona, Italy

Cortona, Italy - Tuscany

On the 13th, we left Milan on track 13,

Back to Florence, the Tuscan sun had to be seen.

My wife declared, “Cortona” with a smile,

Stayed at Villa Medici in style.

Long, narrow walk uphill to Cortona,

A challenge, different than Pamplona.

The medieval prize with views and walls of stone,

A romantic place for us to be alone.

Bellinis, church bells and La Dolce Vita,

Sharing life’s moments with my señorita.

From boutiques to basilicas we stroll,

Feeling the love deep in our soul.

Return to Florence, dressed up, head to Harry’s Bar with my wife.

Piano playing “Alleluia”, she says “This is the best day of my life.”
